ARFhouse volunteers spotted an emaciated dog in the park on a Sunday morning in April, scavenging for garbage and frightened of anyone who approached her. They gradually won Mimosa’s trust with tasty treats, and soon discovered why she was so ravenously hungry: she was nursing a litter of puppies, just one week old.
Today Sycamore is an energetic, happy little puppy who loves to play (especially a game of tug-of-war with his brother Briar!) He’s ready to make new friends wherever he goes, from cats to people to dogs of all sizes.
