  • Name: Nona
  • Adopted: June 10, 2011

Nona was rescued from Animal Care and Control. We were informed that she was trembling out of fear since the moment she arrived. When our volunteer went to pick her up she had her head down in the corner and would not look up – she was afraid of every noise she heard and was shaking like a leaf. As soon as she had her leash on and was out of Animal Control she opened up. Nona is a wonderful little pup with a zest for life. Her foster mom has already taught her how to sit and lay down the first 24 hours of being in her care. She is smart, playful and loves to leap after bouncy balls. Nona looks like a cross between ARFhouse Alumni Maybelline and Tegan. She is about 5 months as of June 1st.

Nona and the other puppies of ARFhouse Chicago have a “Puppy Blog” up and running at the Lucida Puppy Fund site. Take a look to see what each pup is up to.
