She’s now 100% mommy’s little princess… She’s so spoiled it’s ridiculous. She is getting along famously with her kitty companions too! We still have issues with her barking at everyone that walks by until she can sniff them and say hello, but we are working on that and its slowly getting better. I have a feeling she will always have those issues with the chihuahua in her. I have neighborhood kids that she loves, we pass them everyday at walk times and she can’t wait to get cuddles from them, so it seems she just needs to meet you and she won’t bark when you pass by another day! It’s quite cute when i have one of my girlfriends come over, she gets so excited. One of my favorite things about her is her excited poses… every day when i come home from work, she jumps up and down in the air, and sticks her paws up in the air and jumps around on her hind legs. Anyone who’s ever seen her do this has melted at how adorable she is and I get to see it every day!!  I’m feeding her the CORE wellness food that was a suggested food on the list you gave from the adoption, she never eats out of her bowl, she grabs a mouthful of food, runs to the couch and drops the bunch, then eats them one at a time and goes back for more… its funny. She also gets to hang out on my balcony when I’m home and its nice out. My cats always like to hang out there, so I put up a mesh fence around the bars so no one could get through or jump, and put a dog/cat flap in the screen door they can walk out there and lounge while Mom can still keep an eye on them from the couch. She loves to watch the people below passing by! She also loves tug of war games with her toys and will run up to me and put them in my lap and then cock her head at me until I play. I can never resist the cocked head… adorable! 2 weekends ago I took Mila on a hiking trip with a friend of mine and his dog up by Starved Rock, I was slightly worried Mila wouldn’t like it cause she might get wet, or she might get tired, but man, she had a blast running through the woods and mud… she even walked through some water, which normally she isn’t a fan of. She kept up with my friends lab puppy very well and they made fast friends exploring together. She was filthy by the end of the day, but nothing a bath didn’t fix once we got home!
Now I’m just rambling like a mom… Just wanted to tell you! Hope you are doing well and saving lots of furry babies!!!
PS. I love that toy you gave in the gift basket that was a doll with an X for one of her eyes… lol Obviously perfect for Mila. :) I got a smaller one for her i found just recently at the pet store, and its now her favorite toy, day one and she already tore off a rope ear.
