Gilda and her brother, Gene, were found abandoned on the South Side of Chicago. They are about 1.5 months old as of September 1 and are very playful. Shortly after arriving, Gilda’s foster parents noticed she was not walking properly and often would fall over. A quick trip to the vet found her to most likely have been exposed to distemper in utero causing some mild developmental issues, but despite the setback, she will go on to live a very happy and healthy life! Gilda would love to be adopted with Gene as they are such great friends.
