Thank you for choosing ARFhouse Chicago to adopt your companion animal. In order to be considered for adoption, the following criteria must be met:

• You must be at least 21 years of age with proper proof of age. Current identification must show your correct address and phone number.
• You will be asked to make an adoption donation at the time of adoption. The requested donation is $200 for dogs, $100 for cats, $100 for rabbits and $30 for guinea pigs to help offset costs such as vaccinations, spay/neutering, and microchipping.
• You must provide a landlord’s phone number or a copy of your lease, if you rent. If you live in an apartment or condo, you must also provide documentation of any weight/breed restrictions that apply.

Please note: If you have not heard back from us within 5 days, either by phone or e-mail, your application to adopt has not been approved.
